Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly met and greeted by your professional driver-guide. You will then be transferred to Arusha town, where you will check in to your hotel booked on a bed-and-breakfast basis. The rest of the day is at leisure, giving you ample time to relax and unwind as you prepare for the exciting safari adventure ahead.
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, get ready for your exciting first game drive as you depart for Tarangire National Park with packed lunchboxes. Enjoy a full day game drive in this beautiful park, famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Later in the afternoon, you will drive to Karatu town, where you will check in to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Karatu to Serengeti via Ngorongoro
After breakfast, check out from your lodge in Karatu town and begin your scenic drive towards Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy game viewing along the way as you traverse the highlands and vast plains, with a picnic lunch en route. Upon arrival in the Serengeti, continue with an afternoon game drive before heading to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, embark on a full day of thrilling game drives in the Serengeti National Park. Explore the vast savannahs in search of the Big Five and other remarkable wildlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the stunning landscapes of the park, soaking in the sights and sounds of the wild. Later in the afternoon, return to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, check out from your lodge or camp and drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater and enjoy a game drive on the crater floor, home to a remarkable concentration of wildlife including lions, elephants, rhinos, and hippos. Relish a picnic lunch amidst this breathtaking setting. Later in the afternoon, ascend from the crater and continue to Karatu town.
Karatu — Arusha — Fly to Zanzibar
After breakfast, you will check out from your lodge and drive to Arusha town for a hot lunch at Arusha Coffee Lodge. Thereafter, proceed to Arusha Airport for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, you will be met and transferred to your beach resort for check-in, arriving in time for dinner and overnight. This marks the end of your safari and the beginning of your relaxing beach holiday.
Zanzibar Beach Resort
After breakfast, enjoy the day at leisure, relaxing at your beach resort. However, you may opt to participate in various optional activities today, such as a tour of Stone Town or an exciting spice tour to explore Zanzibar's rich history and aromatic spice plantations.
Departure — Zanzibar Airport
After breakfast, check out from the resort and transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your flight back home, bidding farewell to the unforgettable safari memories and the pristine beaches of Zanzibar as your journey comes to an end.
