Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly met and greeted by your professional driver-guide. You will then be transferred to Arusha town, where you will check in to your hotel booked on a bed-and-breakfast basis. The rest of the day is at leisure, giving you ample time to relax and unwind as you prepare for the exciting safari adventure ahead.
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, get ready for your exciting first game drive as you depart for Tarangire National Park with packed lunchboxes. Enjoy a full day game drive in this beautiful park, famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Later in the afternoon, you will drive to Karatu town, where you will check in to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Karatu to Serengeti via Ngorongoro
After breakfast, check out from your lodge in Karatu town and begin your scenic drive towards Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy game viewing along the way as you traverse the highlands and vast plains, with a picnic lunch en route. Upon arrival in the Serengeti, continue with an afternoon game drive before heading to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, embark on a full day of thrilling game drives in the Serengeti National Park. Explore the vast savannahs in search of the Big Five and other remarkable wildlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the stunning landscapes of the park, soaking in the sights and sounds of the wild. Later in the afternoon, return to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, check out from your lodge or camp and drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater and enjoy a game drive on the crater floor, home to a remarkable concentration of wildlife including lions, elephants, rhinos, and hippos. Relish a picnic lunch amidst this breathtaking setting. Later in the afternoon, ascend from the crater and continue to Karatu town.
Departure — Karatu to Arusha / Airport
After breakfast, check out from your lodge and begin your journey back to Arusha town or Kilimanjaro International Airport. This marks the end of your unforgettable safari adventure, leaving you with lasting memories of Tanzania's spectacular wildlife and landscapes.
